Environment

We strongly recommend you to take a hike around Sokokura, Hakone during your visit to the ONSEN GUESTHOUSE TSUTAYA.
As you walk up the stairs along with the mountain after crossing the National Route #1 in front of the ryokan, there is Hakone Jinja, and the autumn leaves spread out in the Jakotsu-gawa river valley in the fall season will brightens your trip. As you walk up the “Taiko-ishiburo-dori” toward the upstream of Jakotsu-gawa river, there you will see “Taiko stone bath” on the other side.
You will also enjoy seeing the “lively nature” unique to Hakone such as “Owakudani” to view the smoke of the active Hakone volcano, as well as Chisuji Falls at “Kowakudani.”
